I really like the color of this bag, which is why I gave it a 2-star rating. When I took the bag out of the box, I began to test each zipper. Sure enough, one of the zipper handles snapped right off the zipper base and I had to return the item. And I'm glad I did. Most airlines only allow carry-ons that are less than 9" in depth and this bag is 10" (and CANNOT be compressed to squeeze into the a carry-on testing spaces they have at the airport).

Not only did it fall - I fell and landed on top of it, (note - do not try this at home and NEVER try to get on an escalator with three bags - really bad idea). Despite all that, it had a few minor scuffs, unlike the more expensive larger all hardside, which will never travel again. It's light, easy to pack, moves easily and is small enough to fit in most overhead bins - I originally purchased it for my mother of the groom dress as I was NOT letting that out of my sight and it performed perfectly - the garment portion works quite well. By far my favorite piece of luggage - just wish they'd make a larger one as if it withstood what I did to it - it can handle the baggage carriers! Bruised but unbowed. . . .

Agreed that it is a very good product. Hardshell is nice, and the canvas is very comfortable. But the product is a bit too large, and the luggage was taken away from me at the departure gate. Not quite a carry-on, but a good check-in bag.
